6 steps

How it works

Step 1

Box infeed

Your boxes, crates or buckets are fed into the EasySeal.

Step 2

Bag pick-up

Two suction mouths pick up the bag from the box.

Step 3

Side flap folding

In one smooth movement the suction mouths fold the side flaps down, creating space for the sealing bars.

Step 4

Bag spreading and gusseting

The six spreading fingers take over the bag from the suction mouths and spread it, creating a perfect gusset.

Step 5

Bag sealing

Two sealing bars press together, creating a perfect seal in seconds. Our knowledge of sealing pressure, temperature and time ensures a perfect seal.

Step 6

Box outfeed

This results in a perfectly sealed bag placed neatly in the product carrier.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the EasySeal

What does the EasySeal do?

The EasySeal is an automatic bag sealing machine that accurately seals bags inside boxes or crates. By precisely controlling sealing pressure, temperature and sealing time, the machine delivers a consistent and reliable seal for every package. Its compact design makes it easy to integrate into both new and existing packaging lines.

Which applications is the EasySeal suitable for?

The EasySeal is designed for bag-in-box packaging applications where products need to be protected against moisture, dust, contamination or dehydration.

Typical applications include food products, ingredients, powders, oils and fats, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables and many other products that require reliable bag sealing.

When should you choose the EasySeal instead of the VarioSeal?

The EasySeal is the ideal solution when you process one or a limited number of box and bag formats and are looking for a compact, fast and reliable sealing machine.

If your production frequently changes between different packaging sizes and requires maximum flexibility, the VarioSeal is often the better choice.

How many boxes or crates can the EasySeal process per minute?

The EasySeal can process up to 12 boxes or crates per minute.

The actual capacity depends on factors such as box dimensions, bag specifications and the overall packaging line configuration.

What packaging dimensions can the EasySeal handle?

The EasySeal processes a wide range of box and crate sizes as standard:

Length: 300–620 mm

Width: 200–450 mm

Height: 60–350 mm

C-height: 200–500 mm

If your packaging dimensions fall outside these ranges, custom solutions are available. Please contact us to discuss your application.

What bag materials and film thicknesses can the EasySeal process?

The EasySeal is designed for EasyOpen bags and processes film thicknesses ranging from approximately 10 microns to more than 200 microns, depending on the application.

This makes the machine suitable for a wide variety of products and packaging requirements.

How do you operate the EasySeal?

The EasySeal is operated through a large 15-inch touchscreen HMI.

The interface provides access to machine settings, recipes, operating modes and diagnostics. In the event of a fault, the HMI clearly indicates the cause of the issue and guides the operator through the required actions.

Thanks to its intuitive interface and clear visual guidance, operators can quickly learn to operate the machine.

What is required to install and commission the EasySeal?

Before commissioning, the production site must have the required power supply, compressed air and network connection available.

Representative boxes and bags are also needed so the machine can be configured and tested for your specific application.

During installation, Niverplast provides operator and technical training, together with comprehensive documentation to ensure a smooth start-up.

How is sealing quality controlled?

The EasySeal creates a consistent seal by precisely controlling sealing pressure, temperature and sealing time.

The machine continuously monitors these parameters and provides operators with real-time feedback through the HMI, ensuring reliable and repeatable sealing quality with minimal operator influence.

What happens if a fault occurs?

The EasySeal features advanced fault diagnostics through the HMI.

If a malfunction occurs, the operator immediately receives clear information about the cause of the issue and guidance on how to resolve it.

The machine also monitors downstream equipment. If the outfeed conveyor becomes blocked, the EasySeal automatically stops and resumes production once the blockage has been cleared.

What remote support and performance monitoring options are available?

Every EasySeal is equipped with an IXON router for secure remote support. This enables Niverplast technicians to perform troubleshooting, software updates and remote diagnostics whenever required.

The EasySeal can also be connected to DAMORE (Data Monitoring & Remote Engineering). Through an online dashboard, users can monitor live machine performance, OEE and historical production data to identify downtime and improve packaging efficiency.

What are the IT requirements for remote support and DAMORE?

The EasySeal requires a network connection with internet access.

The machine communicates through a secure IXON router using encrypted connections. Your IT department only needs to provide the required network access and firewall permissions according to Niverplast's technical specifications.

Can the EasySeal be integrated into an existing packaging line?

Yes. The EasySeal can operate as a stand-alone machine or be integrated into both new and existing packaging lines.

The machine can also control upstream and downstream conveyors, making integration with other packaging equipment straightforward.

What maintenance does the EasySeal require?

The EasySeal is designed for reliable daily operation with limited routine maintenance.

Preventive maintenance mainly consists of cleaning, inspecting wear parts and performing periodic checks according to the maintenance schedule. Niverplast also offers spare parts, preventive maintenance and remote support to maximise machine uptime.

Can the EasySeal be customised?

Yes. The EasySeal can be configured to match your production requirements.

Available options include:

DAMORE performance dashboard

Reject unit with roller conveyor

Speed package for increased capacity

Conveyor control cabinet

Product coding solutions

Air conditioning unit for warm or dusty environments

This allows the EasySeal to be tailored to your required capacity, level of automation and production environment.
