A packaging line for cakes & pies? In this line, we show you one of the many ways to package your delicate baked goods!
In this case we designed a packaging line for cakes and pies that combines automation and manual handling. Case erecting and bag placing in one machine, that's the job of our CombiPlast. By integrating this solution there is no need to manually fold the cases anymore, even as the bag placing part. The cakes and pies are checked individually by a weigh checker and scanned due X-ray control. Afterwards, the cakes and pies are manually packed into the case; still a people's job that needs to be done with care! Then the products follow their route automatically, where the top closing machine is taking care of the last step. Case closed!
